What Allen Iverson must be thinking…….

Allen Iverson is having an interesting off-season……at first it seemed liked no one wanted me….then all of sudden the Grizzlies want me to come to Memphis……that really don’t excite me too much,but then it would be cool to mentor OJ ……Memphis is a cool city…..but we ain’t gonna win to many games……..I’m getting to old for all that losing…..I want a ring …..the Miami Heat……hmmm…….okay cool me and Wayne can light up a scoreboard we’d make an exciting combo …..but the money just ain’t right…….Miami is only offering two million dollars…..that’s 3.8 million below the mid-level exception….that’s an insult to Allen Iverson……I was MVP of the League….went to the Finals…..they only wanna give me 2 million??!!…..the Charlotte Bobcats….Mike would be my boss….naw he’d be trying to clown me….I don’t think he’s ever forgiven me for breaking his ankles in my rookie season….actually the Bobcats are up and coming coach Brown gotta em working hard….he did say he would be open to coaching me again…..say what…..the Clippers…. oh they wanna piece of ya boy….okay I could get down with LA…..that’s Kobe’s town …..but LA is big enough for Allen Iverson……..Baron, Blake & Iverson ….hmmm….we would have a nice squad……really I should be playing in Golden State….that’s really the best fit…. me and Curry would put a hurting on teams…wear em out………practice ….we talking bout practice

NBA Chess Moves Part II

The free-agent frenzy continues during this off-season, alright try and keep up!!

 

Dallas Mavericks– They have agreed to acquire Shawn Marion from the Toronto Raptors in a 4-team deal,they also have re-signed Jason Kidd to a 3 year $25 million dollar deal.

Toronto Raptors–  Toronto has already signed Hedo Turkoglu to a 5 year $56 million dollar deal,and they  also re-sign forward Andrea Bargnani to a 5 year $50 million dollar deal.

Denver Nuggets– They have re-signed there circus act…….Chris “Birdman” Andersen to a 5year $26 million dollar deal…….***most of that money is back-loaded at the end of his contract ****so he might not get all of that $26 million!

San Antonio Spurs- They have signed free-agent Antonio McDyess to the mid-level exception which is worth $5.6 million to McDyess.

Houston Rockets-They signed free-agent Trevor Ariza from the Lakers,at the time of this post terms were not disclosed.

 

 

Pistons hit daily double

The Detroit Pistons have reportedly signed free-agents Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva, this move comes a couple days after the Pistons fired head coach Micheal Curry…….Gordon’s deal is reportedly a 5 year $50 million dollar deal, while Villanueva’s deal is reportedly a 5 year $35 million dollar deal,these signings won’t be made official until next week per NBA rules……..Gordon averaged 20.7 points, and Villanueva averaged 16.2 and 6.7 rebs last season.
