Kevin Durant,…… Back in Action

Kevin Durant will play tonight.

The league’s MVP will make his season debut Tuesday for the Thunder at New Orleans after coach Scott Brooks told The Oklahoman and others he would be available.

Brooks addressed the media after OKC went through shoot-around in New Orleans. Brooks said Durant would be limited to about 30 minutes.

Durant fractured his right foot in October and has not played any this season after winning his first MVP title a season ago. Meanwhile, the Thunder have struggled this season, due to Durant’s absence as well as Russell Westbrook’s.

Durant has spent the past week practicing, including going through full contact and his return was rumored to be sometime this week.

Westbrook has played just two complete games this season. He returned Friday after missing about a month with a broken hand.

Westbrook and Durant will be in the starting lineup tonight.

Oklahoma City is 5-12 but has won two games in a row . New Orleans is 7-8.
